Dr. Erdem Coleri is a Full Professor of Civil and Construction Engineering at Oregon State University and Director of the Asphalt Materials and Pavements (AMaP) Laboratory. His expertise includes transportation infrastructure systems, pavement structures, asphalt and concrete materials, waterproofing systems, infrastructure performance, sustainability, service life assessment, and forensic engineering evaluation.

Dr. Coleri has led and managed infrastructure research, implementation, and technology-development projects with a combined value approaching $9 million, collaborating with transportation agencies, contractors, engineering firms, manufacturers, and infrastructure owners on infrastructure performance, durability, construction quality, sustainability, and long-term asset evaluation.

His consulting and expert witness experience includes forensic investigations, technical evaluations, document reviews, expert reporting, deposition support, patent-related technical evaluations, and infrastructure-related engineering disputes involving transportation systems, construction materials, and infrastructure performance.

In addition to his consulting and expert witness activities, Dr. Coleri serves in editorial and professional leadership roles within nationally and internationally recognized engineering organizations and journals. He has also participated in the review of research proposals, technical evaluations, and academic assessments for organizations and institutions in the United States and several other countries.

Dr. Coleri’s experience combines academic research, laboratory testing, field investigations, analytical modeling, infrastructure performance assessment, and practical engineering problem-solving to support technically rigorous and defensible decision-making.
